Bring the gang, explore the exhibits, then celebrate in one of our two terrific birthday party rooms. Birthday Party Reservation times are available Tuesday through Sunday. Please call the office for more information.

Birthday Bash

Party Includes:

  • Use of museum all day for party guests
  • One hour in the birthday party room
  • Museum t-shirt for the birthday child

Birthday Extravaganza

Party Includes:
  • Use of Museum all day for party guests
  • One hour in the birthday party room
  • Party favor bags for each child
  • A birthday cake, juice boxes, paper products and utensils
  • Museum t-shirt for the birthday child
  • Free video to record two songs in the sound studio

Step 2: Pick your Party Size

For Bash Parties:

  • Up to 15 guests $80
  • Up to 25 guests $120
  • Up to 35 guests $175

For Extravaganza Parties:

  • Up to 15 guests $120
  • Up to 25 guests $170
  • Up to 35 guests $220
Please Note: The Number of guests includes all children and adults attending your party. There must be one adult present for every five children.

**Museum invitations are available for $.40 each.**

Member Discount: MDM members booking a party receive 10% off their package price. Members attending a party must be included in the guest count. See back of brochure for more information about becoming a member.

PINATA!! Take a swing at a prize-packed piñata! We provide the piñata full of goodies, blindfold and the “stick” to swing with!
Piñata with goodies $30.

Reservations for all birthday party options are accepted on a first come, first served basis. To secure your date and time, we require a $25 non-refundable deposit.

Make Your Party Easy With Help From Too Much Fun!

The museum gift shop makes your party fun and easy with a variety of options!

Choose from three levels of Party Favor Bags: $2.00, $3.30, $5.00
(Extravaganza parties receive $2 bags for each child unless host chooses to upgrade)

Visit Too Much Fun! to create a special birthday wish list for your child. Educational toys and children’s books make great gifts, and many items are under $10. Your guests save time by calling ahead to select from our child’s wish list. The gift will be wrapped and ready to pick up on the party day!

Discounts for Guests of Members: If the birthday family has a museum membership, party guests get a 10% discount on the birthday gift purchase!
