MAINE DISCOVERY MUSEUM is ...Too Much Fun!
With seven major interactive exhibit areas on three floors, Maine Discovery Museum is the largest children's museum north of Boston. Located in the historic Freese's building in downtown Bangor, MDM is just an hour's drive from Acadia National Park.

Museum Hours:
Tuesday - Saturday 9:30 - 5:00
Sunday 12:00 - 5:00

Closed Mondays, except for some school holidays, please call ahead.  

On New Year's Eve, December 31st, we will be closing at 3:00 pm. We will be open Sunday, Jan. 1st, 12:00 to 5 pm, and Monday, Jan. 2nd, 9:30 to 5 pm. We will also be open Monday, January 16th, for Martin Luther King, Jr. day.    

Museum Admission:
Admission is $6.00 per person.
Members and Children 12 months & under get in free!
