February at MDM: Don't Miss a Thing!

Bangor, Maine. Maine Discovery Museum has been gearing up for another wild and crazy February Vacation week here in Downtown Bangor.  MDM will be open on President’s Day, Monday, February 18, 2013 from 10:00 am-5:00 pm but that’s not all!
February Vacation Camp runs from Monday, February 18-Friday, February 22 and on Wednesday, February 20th, our Main Street Gallery opening of “CHINA: A Traveling Exhibit, 1903-1904”, sponsored by the Oriental Jade Restaurant, kicks off  the “Year of the Snake” here at MDM.  And, as a proud partner with the National Engineers Week Foundation, MDM has many “Introduce a Girl to Engineering” activities planned throughout the month.
 
Vacation Camp: Your kids will have Too Much Fun at our February Vacation Camps with supervised play and discovery, special activities and care from our expert staff. We offer five diverse themes so there's sure to be something your child will love. Join us for one day or the entire week! Maine Discovery Museum is the largest children’s museum north of Boston.

  • Tuesday, February 19: Arctic Explorers
  • Wednesday, February 20: Spy School
  • Thursday, February 21: Wild Maine
  • Friday, February 22: Teeny Tiny Science
 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.                                                                                                                              
  • 7:45 a.m. early drop-off available upon request
  • 5:30 p.m. late pick-up available for small fee. Please request at time of registration.
Tuition
  • $38 per child/day for museum members
  • $45 per child/day for non-museum members
