Ready to Learn

Proud to Partner with Other Children's Museums

We're very proud to be chosen as one of the national Ready to Learn participants. Maine Discovery Museum is partnering with the Children's Museum of Manhattan, the Children's Museum of Bozeman, Montana and the Children's Museum of Oakridge, Tennessee on a national Ready to Learn grant. MDM is one of only four children's museums in the country selected to participate in this study that will examine how young children and families interact with math and numbers in everyday life. The larger project will lead to major new products and strategies for teaching math in early childhood using technology.
